A few thousand words

I've caught myself. I've been making a lot of photographs lately, and wanting to share them, but not really having anything to say, really, and so they sit in my Flickr account, never to be blogged. I've decided that instead of doing that, I will post them here. If I have nothing further to say, you'll have to excuse me...

OK enough of this. Can I PLEASE have a dog? please?

These were taken before the recent warm weather and we were really able to get a whole lot of range in her pictures.

Another reason why Flickr rules

Besides being a great resource that connects you with the work of TONS of great amateur and pro photographers, it also houses many many photo archives. This is from the National photo archive of the Netherlands. I also follow the George Eastman House and the Library of Congress for some great vintage pics.

A basic Flickr account is free and a great way to back up your pics! go check it out, and add me as a contact, "altamarie"

Were you wondering where I've been?

Time is flying by this year!
Here's one from my last trip home to see my youngest brother Greg (that's him) in the musical Anything Goes.

Such fun :) He's a snazzy dancer, that one! I hope that he takes some classes at UMass Amherst where he'll be enrolled as a freshman this fall.
Congrats, Greg :)

I'll be back with some of the latest headshots soon too, AND a big announcement!

1st Reveal!

What a ridiculously fun shoot this was. Two more friends from Babes in Toyland this fall came out for a shoot a couple weeks ago. Here's the first look!

This was my first shoot using an L series lens (for you Canon fans out there) and I am totally hooked. The image quality is amazing.
